CLIMBING INITIATION - MOUSTIERS SAINTE MARIE

Meeting point in front of the train station of Dignes-Les-Bains, transfer in bus with your guide.
Initiation to climbing around Dignes les Bains on superb limestone walls, a perfect playground to discover the world of verticality. We learn the basic rules of climbing as well as different handling used to evolve in a natural environment. In the middle of the afternoon, we will go to the beautiful classified village of Moustiers, for a short visit. Night in an lodge in Moustiers or in Aiguines, above the lac de Sainte Croix.

HIKE - FERRATA IN THE STYX
Departure for a colorful hike, on the Imbut path, until the Styx. It is one of the most spectacular sites, where the gorges seem to swallow the turquoise waters of the Verdon. The path, sometimes steep, is secured by cables and scales. Climb up the Vidal path, a short via ferrata, to reach the plateau. At the end of the afternoon, transfer and installation for 2 nights in the village of La Palud-sur-Verdon.

CLIMBING IN LA PALUD
The village of La Pallud is one of the most impressive and famous places of climbing. There are several sites to choose for this day: the Bastidon's debonair "couennes", or the cliffs of the Point Sublime...you will surely have to collaborate with the vultures... Indeed, these superb walls of orange limestone benefit this species. There is a very good quality of rock and the equipment is exemplary, so you can enjoy this climbing day. Back to the Pallud for the second night.

MOURRE DE CHANIER - BLIEUX
Departure from Rougon, a perched village, at the same time as the vultures leaving for their daily flight. Climbing on the Doline de Suech, then by an off-trail passage to the top of the Mourre de Chanier (1930m), from where we can see the Alps and the sea! Mongolian steppe atmosphere in these vast expanses as far as the eye can see! Descent by the shoulder of the Mourre towards the small village of Blieux, and the friendly welcome in the gîte. Night in dormitory, without luggage.

CADIERES DE BRANDIS
Ascent of the Colle Basse by the forest or along the Robine, a valley of soft schist with a curious relief. Then we leave the path to climb to the Pré Chauvin (1741m) revealing a large panorama of gorges and valleys. Descent on the rocky crest, until the Cadières de Brandis, remarkable ruiniform site which deserves a small halt. The descent continues on paths, until the big village of Castellanne. Aperitif under the plane trees and night in a small hotel!

CANYON OF JABRON - CASTELLANE
Transfer to La Batie (10mn) and departure for a 30mn walk in the forest. The canyon of Haut Jabron is a small geological jewel of canyoning in Castellane. The river has carved out very narrow limestone gorges making the descent almost underground. Jumping in basins, slides, abseiling, all the ingredients are here in this easy and aesthetic canyon. Back to the parking and picnic, then back to Castellane. 

End of the trip at 3:00pm in Castellane. Transfer to Dignes or the train station of Chateau Arnoux (1h).
