COL LA BASSE AND COL RATTI
An amazing panorama for this first day hiking, right in front of the Mont-Blanc range. A flexible hike with different possible elevations to get to know the group.
3h to 4h walk / Elevation: between +350 and +600 m / -250 to -500 m
LA CHAILLA RIDGES AND GOLESE PASS
Crossing old pastures, this hike will take us to a ridge that offers a picture-postcard over the range of Dents Blanches and the geology of Bostan, major site of the Geopark of Chablais. Way back by Golèse refuge.
4h30 walk / Elevation: +/- 530 m
BISE AND LAKE OF DARBON
Change of valley to observe ibexes between the high limestone cliffs of Bise. Picnic at the edge of the emeraude lake Darbon, swim possible for the most courageous ones!
PASS OR PEAK OF CHALUNE
Departure from Foron pasture, between chamois and marmots that we can see with spyglass. Hike up Chalune pass and to the peak for those who want to. Way back through Bolire pass to say hello to our friend Pierrot, herdsman since... 60 years at least!

COL DE COUX AND VISIT OF THE FARM
Between smuggling and migration, Col de Coux is full of stories... without forgetting the sight over the Swiss mountains. Way back by the farm of Freterolles, visit of the cheese production factory and possibility of buying some local cheese.
End of the trek Saturday morning after breakfast.

Elevation: +/- 400 to 700m approximately per day.
Walking time: 3 to 5 hours per day depending on the group.
Type of trek: this tour is not technically difficult.
According to the group's fitness level, some higher level variations are possible.
The tour with one hotel only allows you to have rest day during the week at any point.

Located 500m away from the center of Morzine, this hotel offers all the comfort for a week of sports and relaxation: large living room with a wood fire, spa and sauna, jacuzzi, indoor heated pool and a cosy bar. The hotel is also a food lovers heaven with a large menu, local dishes...
The village center is within easy walking distance with a large selection of shops and outdoor ice-rink. Weekly cultural events include: visit of the old town Morzine with its sawmills, the slatemines or the local cheesemakers producing tomme, reblochon and abondance. Morzine also offers a lively après-ski nightlife with wine bars, pubs, open air djs, clubs....
Breakfast and dinner are provided at your hotel.
Picnics are included and are carefully prepared daily by your mountain leader, comprising a variety of a healthy salads and local products.

Meet Sunday at 6:00pm at the hotel in Morzine.
Inbound: depart Gare de Lyon (Paris) at 9:11am arrive in Thonon at 1:33pm.
Then bus, depart Thonon at 1:40pm arrive in Morzine at 2:25pm.
10 minutes walk left from the bus station to the hotel. Free bus possible.
Return: depart from Morzine with a bus at 4:25pm arrive in Cluses at 5:15pm.
Then train from Cluses at 5:22pm arrive Gare de Lyon (Paris) at 11:00pm.
Times given are indicative and should be verified in a train station or on
10 minutes walk (or by free skibus) to the hotel.
Take the A40 motorway to Cluses, then direction Morzine/Avoriaz (les Portes du Soleil), follow Taninges, Les Gets to arrive in Morzine.
End point Saturday around 09:30am after breakfast at the hotel.

Bring a comfortable backpack of 30 to 40 litres for your personal belongings for the day (warm clothes, waterproofs, water, plate and cutlery for your picnic, sunscreen and your identity papers) and please keep a little room to carry a picnic and snacks.
Your baggage will be transported daily between accommodation by our logistics vehicle. You are allowed 1 soft, sports type bag with all your possessions inside, no heavier than 10kg (for your own ease and comfort carrying your bag upstairs and in the dormitories, we do not advise rigid suitcases, heavy or large baggage).
If you wish to prolong your holiday, we can safely hold another bag for you which you may leave with us at the departure point and it will be deposited at the end point with your other baggage.
