Surreal landscapes of the Italian Alps

The Dolomites, located in the extreme North-East of Italy are named after a geologist, Mr. Déodat Dolomieu, intrigued by the strange appearance of the rocks, discovered and studied their composition in 1782.
Many remains bear witness to the turbulent history of this region, notably from during WW1: tunnels, roads carved into the rock, and via ferrata... for which the mountains are renowned.
But the Dolomites also offer many hiking trails. There is no need to walk very long or on difficult paths to discover the breath-taking landscapes.
From spectacular balconies to green valleys, the path crosses these tremendous mountain ranges, all equally magnificent: Rosengarten, the Alpe di Siusi, Sasso Lungo, Puez, Sella, and finally Tofane, Fanes.

You will like

  • Total immersion into the most unusual mountains in the world
  • A striking difference between green and mineral landscapes
  • Pleasant trails in the heart of verticality
  • A legendary welcome in the gites and refuges
  • A 9 day hike : a parenthesis in the hubbub of life !
